The conference will start with an academic dimension on 29 July 2024, targeting academics, researchers, policy makers, and practitioners. This will be followed by the practitioners dimension which will commence on 31 July 2024.

Since its inception in 2019, this conference series has fostered discourse and nurtured philanthropy ecosystems in Africa. The academic segment will spotlight cutting-edge research and perspectives, while the practitioner dimension will translate insights into actionable strategies. Thematic areas for submissions encompass technology and innovations, three-sector partnerships, climate change, impact investment, gender equality, environmental stewardship, feminist philanthropies, reparations, global shifts, and just peacebuilding.

The conference organisers invite submissions of sessions and abstracts for consideration. The academic conference will be hosted from Monday, 29 July, to Tuesday, 30 July, while the main conference will run from Wednesday, 31 July, to Friday, 2 August 2024. For more information, click here
