Master of Management in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation

The Master of Management in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation (MMENVC) is a research-intense and exciting programme which focuses on creating and disseminating higher-level entrepreneurial knowledge and skills which translate into developing an entrepreneurial mindset and building research capacity.

Programme Overview

Open to all post-graduate students, the MMENVC provides a solid grounding in entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, with emphasis on both theoretical and practical applications as they relate to new venture creation. Learn the key concepts behind entrepreneurship, evolve your strategic, critical and analytical thinking, and take the first step towards ensuring your ongoing success as an entrepreneur.  The Masters in entrepreneurship is focused on creating and disseminating higher-level entrepreneurial knowledge and skills which translates into venture creation and research capacity building. The degree is purposefully structured in such a manner that entrepreneurship is at the core of learning and is not a peripheral issue or a popular management concept. A holistic and integrated curriculum with entrepreneurship at the epicentre allows students to complement their general education and develop entrepreneurial competencies and commitment. The degree is strongly research focused. As “good science is good conversation”, the purpose of this degree is to make the conversation both deeper and wider through research.
