Become part of a network of active, innovative change makers that span every industry across the globe.

My degree was an eye-opening journey of self-discovery with the added benefit of regular contributions from established industry experts to broaden my perspective. The MBA-HL has armed me with the knowledge and tools to establish myself as a healthcare leader in any space I find myself in.

I consider having been part of the Wits Business School, and CAPSI in particular, a great privilege, particularly given the calibre of academic staff and colleagues that I interacted with. I will treasure the lifelong friendships and collaborations I made. I am now more confident about my place as a global leader because of WBS.

My Masters in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation was the launching pad for my new business, which started as a simple idea and is now an award-winning banking app. The incredible lecturers at WBS helped to shape my thinking and gave me both the knowledge and confidence to meet all the requirements to take my idea to market. It is particularly rewarding to have employed two of my former classmates. I am so grateful to WBS for being part of this unfolding story!

The reputation for academic excellence and thought leadership at WBS gives me confidence as I continue to grow in my career. More importantly, being part of this network connects me to a community of changemakers and leaders across different industries. It is an honour to carry the WBS name as I contribute to advancing philanthropy and social impact in South Africa and across the continent.

Completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business at WBS was a transformative journey, providing me with valuable insights into the dynamic landscape of digital business.

A very rewarding and demanding experience that provided a rare opportunity to thoroughly research the topic of executive management.

The defining moment for me was not so much that we were able to turn the business around, but rather the ability to practically apply skills learned while studying. Having business acumen and skills is one thing, practically applying them and realising business shifts is a new experience altogether.

Passing my PhD and graduating was a defining and memorable moment for me. A great sense of accomplishment, it was both the ‘Mama, I did it’ feeling and the ‘coming of age’ feeling which came with the sudden realisation that I could do that and more.

A defining moment in my career has been the realisation that my purpose as an entrepreneur is far reaching, not just to create jobs and wealth, but also be a leading example of charting a path others can follow, especially women.

I feel honoured and proud to be a young entrepreneur, to create employment for other young people, and to deliver value through my business Corium Skincare. My entire life shifted the day I realised that I can actually do it, and I went for it!

That confidence to believe that my age won’t define me has stuck with me and opened doors in my career I could never have imagined. I ended up finishing as the top student for the year and have never looked back.

I made lifelong connections and my MBA really enhanced my brand as a professional.

My WBS qualifications gave me the self-confidence to tackle tough work and life situations with a clear and open mindset.

I was very happy with the way the MMFI programme was structured. The programme was very challenging, and it demanded a lot of focus and dedication. It has provided a powerful foundation for my career aspirations.

I have developed a sharper business acumen, enhanced my leadership skills and honed my abilities in management.

My MBA from WBS deepened my understanding of business and made me aware of the many possibilities available for me to make a difference in any environment.

My job is about creating harmony… It’s about coming up with solutions, keeping your eye on the bigger picture, and the often requires a lot of patience and putting aside your differences

My PDM at Wits Business School was probably my most memorable academic year of all, and that includes Harvard and Oxford... You were working with people very different from you, yet you were still expected to produce quality outputs

My MBA was a new and exciting period in my life because it opened my thinking to the crucial areas of accounting, finance, marketing and operations management

Doing an MBA was demanding, but not that difficult, because if you are willing to meet the demands, nothing is impossible. It created new opportunities for changing my career

The PDM qualification exceeded my expectations – it was more than just learning textbook knowledge. I learnt a lot about myself and my capabilities. The programme also aims to prepare you for the working environment and the career development class definitely built my confidence and instilled values I'll always carry with me as I navigate through my professional work journey.

The PDBA gave me confidence in multiple disciplines and changed the way I view the world, business, and those I live and work with. The growth I experienced was tangible and intoxicating and has only intensified my hunger for knowledge. What you put in is what you get out!

The programme has made me earn respect in many aspects of my professional career as I mix with well renowned industry experts. Currently I am busy working towards publishing a few articles through the guidance of experienced academies within the faculty. As a result of my undertaking of this programme I have had an opportunity to pursue a PhD program within WBS and I have got promotion at work that includes managing the relationships we have with numerous asset management companies.

The MMENVC did wonders for my confidence in executing my business ideas. I was challenged in every lecture to identify my capabilities and make use of my available resources to solve problems. The greatest part has been the invaluable lifelong friendships and business connections forged with my classmates and professors that I will forever be grateful for.
