The African Energy Leadership Centre (AELC) at Wits Business School and the Industrial Gas Users Association of South Africa (IGUA-SA) are hosting a webinar on the natural gas landscape in South Africa on 22 September 2026.

The webinar will build on the discussions from the 2025 Natural Gas Symposium held at WBS and will provide an opportunity to reflect on developments over the past year, as well as the challenges, opportunities and potential solutions across the natural gas value chain.  

The programme will incorporate panels on the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors, as well as fiscal frameworks and judicial process reform.
