Industry and Professional Experience:
Previous experience includes Chief Executive Officer of the Southern Africa Trust from 2014 to 2018; Deputy Executive Director of the Southern Africa Trust; Director of Programmes at Trust Africa; Research Fellow at Trust Africa; Senior Researcher, Centre for Governance, IDASA; Research Specialist at the Africa Institute of South Africa, and Research Manager at Tshwaranang Legal Advocacy Centre, Johannesburg.

Board memberships include International Advisory Council Member of Afrobarometer; SIVIO Institute-Board Chair; Association for Research on Civil Society in Africa-Board Chair; International Society for Third Sector Research (Secretary of the Board - 2014, board member to date); Accountability Lab-Zimbabwe (Founding Board member 2020); Alliance Magazine Editorial Board (2014 to date), and Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly (NVSQ) Editorial Board member (2019 to date).
