Youth Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion

With the youth unemployment rate in South Africa sitting at 52.40% in the first quarter of 2018, the theme for this year’s Youth Month, “Live the legacy towards a socio-economically empowered youth” is both relevant and critical to young South Africans today.

In order to recognise the importance of empowering young South Africans, WBS is hosting a youth entrepreneurship panel discussion that will discuss the challenges and opportunities found in this unique sector. The panelists for the event include an inspiring line up of brilliant youth entrepreneurs and a representative from the Industrial Development Corporation. They are:

  • Mr Tshibvumo Sikhwivhilu, Co-founder and CEO, Lamo Solar
  • Mr Evans Parson, Founder & MD, Vensy e-Mall Solutions
  • Mr Stuart Maitland, Founder and CEO, The Maitland Group
  • Mr Mzwabantu Ntlangeni, Senior Youth Enterprise Specialist, IDC.
