Public Lecture: Infrastructure in Africa

Africa’s yawning infrastructure gap is holding back the continent's growth while and keeping the costs of doing business high. How should this problem be addressed, and what sectors should be prioritised? How big is the gap, really?

Wits Business School invites you to a presentation by visiting professor, Professor Mthuli Ncube, based on his acclaimed book Infrastructure in Africa – Lessons for Future Development.

Professor Ncube, Managing Director and Head of Quantum Global Research Lab, has an extensive background in academia, banking, investments and public policy, and is regarded as a thought leader on Africa and its economy. He will illustrate the extent of the gap across various sectors and discuss some key projects across Africa. He will also present strategies for financing the gap.
