Professionals in the fundraising, resource mobilisation and advancement fields tend to find themselves learning on the job. Very few people in Africa have been formally trained in these areas, and yet the institutions that they run or work for require these competencies.

To help address this need, the Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI) at Wits Business School is excited to offer the first academic qualification of its kind on the African continent:

• The Postgraduate Diploma in Management in the field of Philanthropy and Resource Mobilisation (NQF 8)

This unique programme draws on the latest research in the field and provides an opportunity for you to develop critical thinking and leadership skills, as well as core competencies as a manager in the philanthropy or non-profit sectors.
