Digital Inclusion Symposium
The need for digital inclusion has emerged as a critical concern, particularly in the last six years following the global pandemic. Society has become increasingly reliant on digital technologies for communication, remote work, education, and numerous daily activities. Moreover, the rapid advancement of technologies, particularly with the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), has introduced a new layer to this concern: the AI divide.
To address the increasingly pronounced and complex issue of digital equity in the South African context, Wits Business School (WBS), in collaboration with the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies (SCIS), is hosting a symposium to foster a greater understanding of the challenges and opportunities in achieving widespread digital inclusion.
