WBS Leadership Dialogues | Dr Rutendo Hwindingwi: Driving Business Development in Africa
We take great pleasure in inviting you to a conversation with Dr Rutendo Hwindingwi, author, speaker and business leader, who has worked in over 20 African countries driving business development.
Drawing from his experience in working with both small businesses and large multinational corporates, Dr Hwindingwi brings a fresh perspective on strategic success, advocating that understanding the ‘fabric’ of Africa means understanding her people, beyond the stats and media narratives.
He is also the founder and CEO of Tribe Africa Advisory (TAA), a boutique advisory firm that works with multinational companies, organisations, and governments in growing their pan-African strategies through business development and executive leadership development. He has previously served as an executive at Deloitte, Sage Plc and the YNV Group. Dr Hwindingwi has led business development teams in Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Australasia. He is also a non-executive Director for the British Chamber of Commerce for SA and Vice Chairman of the Trade and Investment Forum for the American Chamber of Commerce SA.
Dr Hwindingwi obtained his PhD from WBS in International Business Strategy, with a focus on developing markets.
Please join us for a stimulating evening as Dr Hwindingwi chats to Prof Boris Urban, professor of Entrepreneurship at WBS.
