African Energy Leadership Centre (AELC) 2024 PhD Bursaries Available

A limited number of bursaries are available to candidates registering for the following Energy Leadership programme through Wits Business School:
- 5 – PhD Specialising in Energy
The bursary will cover the Registration and Tuition fees for the 2024 academic year.
Successful applicants will:
- Be South African citizens
- Warrant financial assistance
Previously disadvantaged South African citizens will receive preference. Applicants will also qualify based on academic merit.
Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis and at the sole discretion of the Programme Director for the African Energy Leadership Centre, Wits Business School.
Wits Business School reserves the right not to award bursaries.
Successful Applicants will sign and enter into a bursary agreement spelling out conditions of acceptance including repayment of bursary where appropriate, for example, failure to complete the course. No bursary amounts will be off-set against a student’s academic fees unless such a bursary agreement has been signed by the student concerned. Timing of the disbursement of the bursary will be at the discretion of Wits Business School.
