Start Date: Wednesday, 08 September, 2021
Time: 16:00
Venue: Online

Influencer marketing is big business - it’s an industry that is projected to be worth up to US$15 billion by 2022. And with the massive growth in digital adoption in entertainment and commerce, fuelled by the Covid-19 pandemic, South Africa’s own influencer industry set to increase exponentially.

But how do brands and marketers go about using influencers in their content creation strategies? How do they measure the effectiveness and return in investment (ROI) of influencer marketing? How do they choose the right influencer and the right media platform?

Wits Business School, along with our Master of Management in Strategic Marketing programme, is pleased to invite you to a webinar to unpack these questions and demystify this exciting new direction that marketing is taking.

Our panellists:

  • Thabo “T-bose” Mokwele - media Personality/WBS alumnus and PhD student
  • Dr Karabo Sitto - Lecturer: Strategic Communication, UJ; digital communication specialist and WBS alumnus
