Global interest in the field of philanthropy and social investment in Africa is growing exponentially. Recent years have seen a considerable increase in research and writings related to these topics. Despite this, the study of these fields is in a nascent stage, with limited formal academic research, teaching and publications available in Africa.

In response to this lack of dedicated and formal academic focus, the Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI) at Wits Business School is excited to offer the first Master’s degree in African Philanthropy, the first its kind on the African continent:

This unique programme draws on cutting-edge research in the field and provides an opportunity for you to develop critical thinking and leadership skills, as well as core competencies as a manager in the Philanthropy or Non-profit sectors.

If you are interested in carving out a career for yourself these sectors in Africa, we invite you to find out more about this programme at our upcoming online information evening on Tuesday, 26 October 2021.

You will also have an opportunity to participate in a live Q & A chat following the presentation. Please register to confirm your participation. Log in details will be provided closer to the date.
