Attaining leadership status has fast become a common activity. However, maintaining it is what gives an institution/ individual the edge. People queued at the Wits Business School (WBS) stand at this year's South African Business Schools (SABSA) Expo which was held at the Sandton Convention Centre recently. This is testimony to Wits Business School's years of maintaining excellence as the leading business school in South Africa.
On arrival at the expo, visitors were quickly drawn to the hordes of people queuing to find out more about WBS. What gives WBS its' distinction? What made it the number one business school in South Africa for four years running as per the Sunday Times Markinor survey? Why was the WBS MBA voted S.A's best MBA six years in a row in the Financial Mail's annual ranking?
These questions, and more, were answered as individuals received sound advice and informative documents to take with them for future reference. Many were instantly keen to begin the WBS journey and be a part of this renowned institution. This spoke volumes about what WBS stands for and set the tone for a promising and progressive future, says Academic Director, Prof. Geoff Bick, "I was pleased to see the WBS stand constantly busy with interactive discussion sessions. The response is indicative of the fact that WBS is growing in leaps and bounds. We anticipate seeing the same faces in our classrooms as they join the WBS family and achieve academic excellence."
