PROF. GEOFF BICK APPOINTED AS COCA-COLA CHAIR

Prof. Geoff Bick, Academic Director at Wits Business School, has just been appointed as the Coca-Cola Africa Chair in Marketing. Leading business institution, Wits Business School (WBS) and conglomerate Coca-Cola Africa (CCA), have joined forces to create a professorial Chair, which will keep Southern Africa on par with global standards in the marketing arena. This exclusive partnership will be the core advisory board in steering Southern Africa’s prime organisations towards excellence in brand, marketing and other business arenas.

Prof. Bick says, “This initiative will be exclusive to Southern Africa. I will drive research in the marketing, leadership and branding fields and will lead a prime advisory body, which will assist students as well as various institutions across the continent. We are looking forward to cultivating best practices, with CCA.”

As a sole partner CCA was involved in the selection process of the Chair to ensure that the candidate’s contribution to the academic and business committees of South Africa is of the highest standard.
