ENTREPRENEURIAL HEROES SERIES
THE KEYS TO ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS
with Charles Rowlinson, Founder and Chairman of WIZZIT
After our first successful Entrepreneurial Heroes Series Lecture, The Centre for
Entrepreneurship @ Wits Business School cordially invites you to join us for our
2nd lecture in the series, with Charles Rowlinson, Founder and Chairman of WIZZIT
who will speak on 'THE KEYS TO ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS'.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship @ Wits Business School has initiated this series which affords individuals,
institutions and communities, with exceptional track records of entrepreneurial effort, an opportunity to share the
story of this journey. Held on the last Thursday evening of each month, the EHS is also a platform to demonstrate
how entrepreneurialism, and the speaker's experience in particular, might address pressing socio-economic
issues in (South) Africa.

Charles Rowlinson is an entrepreneurial executive,
having built small and large organisations both in
South Africa and internationally. He has an excellent
record of success in business enterprises. Charles
is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a
Bachelor of Accountancy and MBA degrees, both from
the University of Witwatersrand.

From the age of 29, over a period of 18 years, Charles
built up a global group in the human resources,
recruitment, compensation and education fields.
This entity, Renwick Group, together with large private
education companies, was listed as EDUCOR on the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 1997.
He held the position of EDUCOR CEO and Chairman
until the group was delisted through a private equity
acquisition in 2001. Charles, being a builder of
organisations, decided to pursue his own interests and,
together with his business associate Brian Richardson,
formed WIZZIT in 2002. WIZZIT is driven to bring
financial services to the bottom of the pyramid utilising
mobile banking technology.
