Teaching Areas & Research:
Rabelani Dagada is a Lecturer for Information and Knowledge Management and Programme Director for ICT Governance and Risk Management at the Wits Business School. He holds Masters of Education in Computer-based Education and Masters of Commerce in Information Systems from the Rand Afrikaans University and the University of Witwatersrand respectively. He is currently studying for his PhD in Information Systems at the University of South Africa. Rabelani has undertaken a myriad of short courses in information technology - including web development, telecommunications, online learning and project management. He has presented papers in national and international conferences. Rabelani is a prolific writer and reads widely.
A seasoned scholar, he has an extensive published portfolio in ICT related publications. Rabelani is a Professional Member of the Computer Society of South Africa and the South African Institute for Computer Scientists and Information Technologists. His research interests include ICT in Education, e-commerce, mobile commerce, telecommunications, and ICT governance and risk management. Rabelani is the author of the forthcoming book entitled: Time, Place and Pace: Computer-integrated Learning in Corporate South Africa.
