First described as a “purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash”, blockchain technology made its debut in 2008. Fast forward ten years and it has become one of the most talked about yet least understood technologies around.

How viable is Blockchain within the South African landscape, however?

Wits Business School, in partnership with Deloitte South Africa, is pleased to invite you to a presentation and panel discussion on Blockchain by Kreeban Govender, who heads up Blockchain development and implementation within Deloitte South Africa's Risk Advisory practise. Using case studies he will uncover ‘real story’ successes and failures and interrogate the impact of Blockchain on the business ecosystem in South Africa.

Kreeban will be joined by Kent Raines, assistant manager within Deloitte Analytics and Kyle Turner, Blockchain Technical Lead at Deloitte and a cyber-security professional. Click here for speaker bios

Please join us for drinks and finger food after the presentation.

We look forward to hosting you!
