Ethical leadership and good governance are an increasing imperative in South Africa in light of recent scandals in both the private and public sectors. We need ethical leadership now more than ever: for the benefit of all stakeholders, to minimise the scourge of corruption and to restore confidence in our organisations and institutions.

Sound ethics and good governance also help to promote economic growth and encourage foreign direct investment - much needed in our current stagnant economic environment.

Wits Business School invites you to a panel discussion to address:

  • Organisational leadership in all sectors: private, public and NGO
  • The role of ethical leadership in society and in promoting social justice
  • The practical aspects (and challenges) of being an ethical leader

 Our speakers:

  • Nhlanhla Nene: Interim Director of Wits Business School
  • Laura Bertrand: Managing Director at Everyday Ethics and a founding director of the Ethics Practitioners Association (EPA)
  • Mark Heywood: Executive Director of Section27
  • Cynthia Schoeman: Managing Director at Ethics Monitor and Sessional Lecturer at WBS

Cynthia Schoeman will also facilitate the discussion.
Booking is essential.
