


The Wits Business School (WBS) PhD programme is aimed at graduate students with a Masters degree who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding in a particular management- related field. The PhD is awarded on the basis of a thesis that constitutes a substantial contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the subject chosen. As such, the degree demands the capacity to pursue independent research and analysis at the highest level.

Having a PhD shows the world you are capable of putting in the disciplined effort, logical thought and leaps of insight required of people who will go on to innovate and lead innovators.
