MM by Research

The Wits Business School Masters of Management (MM) by Research programme is aimed at students with an Honours degree who wish to further develop their graduate qualifications in a management-related field. The MM by Research is awarded on the basis of a supervised thesis.

An MM by Research gives you the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge in the focus area of study, as well as to build valuable research skills. This will enable you to pursue lifelong learning. The MM by Research comprises a full dissertation, which you will produce under the guidance of a supervisor. In the first six-months of registration you will complete the Research Seminar Series that will enable you to embark successfully on this task.

Admission into the WBS MM by Research Programme requires the following

• A bachelors degree with honours (1st or Upper 2nd Class grade)
• An outline of your proposed research.
• Availability of a suitable supervisor.
• High level of motivation and commitment.
