The long-standing American tradition of the class ring was introduced in the 1830’s at the US Military Academy, WestPoint, today rings are worn with pride by graduates of every Ivy League school.
WBS is the first business school in Africa to make the rings available to graduates and alumni. Every ring purchased contributes to an alumni bursary fund, making it possible for others to follow in your footsteps.
In keeping with the institution’s tenets of leadership and excellence, the rings are individually crafted in solid yellow or white gold with the Wits Business School emblem and your degree in relief on the crown of the ring. A subtle, distinctive and distinguished symbol of your achievement.
Two styles are available, manufactured to exacting standards in solid 18-karat, 14-karat, 9-karat gold. The signet ring, is the larger of the two; the classic ring, more delicate, appeals to ladies as well as to men who prefer a smaller ring. The rings are priced at between R2000 and R7000 according to style and purity.
Rings are delivered in sophisticated packaging suitable to display the ring if it is not being worn. Rings are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, endorsed by the business school and the manufacturer.
Further ordering and purchasing information is available on the manufacturer’s website at www.serica.co.za. Only bona fide Wits Business School Alumni can wear this ring. Celebrate your accomplishment and make your graduation a moment to remember forever, with a Wits Business School Convocation ring. You've earned it!
